Southlands is a prestigious collection of exquisite estates, urban farmlands and equestrian grounds located on the South-west corner of Vancouver’s Westside. With South West Marine Drive to the South, the Fraser River to the North, and the University of British Columbia & Pacific Spirit Regional Park to the East, Southlands possess a distinct neighbourhood feel.
Southlands is the only designated equestrian community in Vancouver and the largest one in North America. The Southlands Riding and Polo Club was founded in 1943. Located at the corner of West 53rd Avenue and Carnarvon Street, the Southlands Riding Club is a non-profit society catering to the equestrian sport; providing training to athletes and horses at all levels.
